Job Summary:Perform materials handling functions and inventory transactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Operates forklift, hand truck, and/or other material handling equipment to move material as required.
  • Load/Unload freight
  • Perform receiving transactions for all material inventory
  • Minimize aging receiving transactions pending to complete
  • Accurately store raw material in assigned locations
  • Deliver and issue parts to assembly, through ERP system and physically.
  • Pull parts as specified in production schedule.
  • Follow production flow
  • Maintain inventory integrity by verifying parts quantity as they are pulled. Notify discrepancies.
  • Perform inventory quality activities such as cycle counts and shop supplies
  • Perform shipping pick-to-order activities
  • Transact pick-lists for work orders through ERP system.
  • Certified in material handling equipment such as in sit down and stand up forklifts
  • Participate in root-cause analysis activities performed during Gemba-Walk.
  • Maintain records and documents organized per company’s standards
  • Replenish inventory per Kanban/stocking strategy.
  • Keep a clean, orderly, safe work environment and comply with EHS policies.
  • Assist with assembly of builds as needed or other miscellaneous work as required

Qualifications:
  • Ability to work and operate equipment in safe manner
  • Must be flexible, a committed team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to follow verbal & written instructions, works independently with minimal supervision
  • Understands since of urgency and importance of communication when needed
  • Operation of powered industrial equipment required: Forklift Experience required, Certified preferred, rigging/operating overhead crane.
  • Must be able to walk, sit, lift, climb, read & write English
  • Microsoft Office programs is desired
  • SAP experience is highly desired
  • 0 †2 years of experience in warehouse and manufacturing environments
  • Basic centrifugal and rotary compressors knowledge is desired

Key Competencies: High School Diploma or GED required.
