1. Utility Account Management
a. Work with various groups such as facilities, finance, accounting, and legal to manage client utility accounts and related issues.
b. Resolve utility account issues by working with utility companies
c. Maintain completeness and accuracy of utility data, property data, etc. in databases to ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting.
d. Oversee bill processing vendor or responsible party’s management of deposits.
a. Create macros and automatic routines to combine data, analyze and report key metrics and performance indicators.
b. Generate site and portfolio reports from various data management systems regarding energy consumption, and projected consumption based on conservation opportunities.
c. Create summary presentations in Powerpoint for reporting to senior management.
3. Energy Analysis
a. Review and compute a facility’s end-use analysis, taking into consideration local conditions, equipment, processes, hours of operation, weather and facility use.
b. Calculate projected energy savings for conservation opportunities and projects identified by the energy manager, engineer or vendor.
c. Analyze properties within the portfolio for trends and anomalies in energy consumption and normalize energy use based on weather, occupancy, and production.
4. Sustainability Analysis
a. Analyze trash, recycling, and water trends to calculate costs and savings from reduction, conservation, or substitution opportunities and projects as identified
5. Process Improvement
a. Investigate and recommend process improvement solutions that will make the utilities management process most robust, error-free, and streamlined.
a. Actively communicate progress and issues with the portfolio program manager, the facilities management team, and the client.
b. Participate on Energy Team process improvement projects, as assigned.
c. Respond to client or JLL team requests in a timely and professional manner.
7. LEED Projects
a. Support documentation and reporting of energy and sustainability performance for LEED project certification. Particular focus on credits related to Energy & Atmosphere and building commissioning.Qualifications:
1. College degree in math, engineering, technology, computer science, information technology, finance or similar analytical background
2. 3 years of relevant experience
3. Proven ability to quickly learn and utilize multiple data systems to maximize effectiveness
