Provides general business support to a business services office in accordance with standard procedures. Prepares and processes a variety of university business documents.

Job Duties:

  • Prepares business documents in accordance with university and departmental standards. Business documents may include, but are not limited to, purchase vouchers, requisitions, travel reimbursements, personnel actions, timesheets, or cash deposits.
  • Maintains department business spreadsheets or databases, and updates or modifies records as needed.
  • Prepares recurring financial or personnel reports for management.
  • Orders and receives supplies; maintains supply inventory.
  • May coordinates departmental travel activities in accordance with university and departmental standards.
  • Responds to routine questions and issues regarding business procedures; refers more complex questions to appropriate administrator or department and follows up to ensure resolution.
  • Assists with special projects as assigned.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • EEO/AA Qualifications This position is scheduled to work 30 Hrs a week (.75 FTE). High school and 1 year experience

    Requires a basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical functions like percentages, ratios, etc. as might normally be acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or GED.

    Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
