Lanier Parking Solutions has an immediate opening for a hardworking, friendly and driven maintenance team member for our Life Science Plaza parking operation in Houston, TX . This individual will be responsible for general maintenance and custodial duties. A passion for customer service and pride in one’s work are both qualities we are looking for in a maintenance candidate. Training will be provided to help you excel as a Lanier maintenance team member.

This position pays $10.00/hr. The schedule is Monday through Friday, AM shifts. The schedule could vary so flexibility is a must.

Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Ensure general maintenance of facility by, replacing lighting, repairing equipment, and maintaining overall cleanliness of property

Complete daily custodial tasks (including: sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins) in garage, bathroom and office areas.

Maintain garage appearance by ensuring that all painted surfaces such as poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, gates, are properly maintained and meet company standard.

Perform daily check on parking equipment (ticket dispensers, gate arms, etc.) to ensure proper operation and general appearance; assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment, as directed by the Facility or Operations Manager.

Clear debris from the entrance or exit ramps and in designated areas using shovels, snow/leaf blowers and other equipment.

Keep an inventory of janitorial supplies; place order for supplies as necessary.

Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns; relay information to Operations Manager or Shift Lead, as necessary.

Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.

Communicate professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammates

In order to become a Lanier Maintenance Team Member - you will need to possess the following:

At least 18 years of age

General Maintenance/custodial experience

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Electrical / HVAC experience, preferred
