JOB DESCRIPTION
PLANS UTILIZATION OF FACILITY, EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS AND PERSONNEL TO IMPROVE EFFICIENCY OF OPERATIONS.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Studies and records time, motion, methods and speed involved in performance of maintenance, production, clerical and other workers operations to establish standard production rate and to improve efficiency.
Recommends revision of methods of operation or material handling, alterations in equipment layout, or other changes to increase production or improve standards.
Plans layout to provide maximum possible operating efficiency.
Creates rework work orders for non-conforming parts
Creates detailed work instructions that specifies the steps needed to complete an activity or a task.
Processes Engineering Change notices and updates system information with all required changes.
Studies sequence of operations to be performed and flow of business and materials.
Assist with entry and maintenance of part numbers, BOM’s, mfg. routers and work orders; in various software applications, to support manufacturing production.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS
Strong analytical skills.
Good computer skills.
Should be able to work and interact with all levels of personnel.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Working knowledge of the oil related manufacturing environment.
Adaptable to change and responsible to direction.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
